Task

Introduction

Want to easily keep track of your daily, weekly, monthly or upcoming tasks? We have the solution for you. In Strive, you can view and add in tasks just like how you would do in a to-do list.

When you create a task in list view or in a deal, you can add a due date, specify the priority of the task, and choose a day and time for the reminder.

View your Task

Action Plan View

Step 1 : Click on your profile picture on the top right of the page.

All your tasks can be found below the Action Plan section

Step 2: If you want to view back on the task that you have completed, click on this Completed Task section as shown below.

List View

Step 1: Click on your profile picture on the top right of the page.

Step 2: Click on the icon located beside the Task to view your task in list view.

In the list view, you will be able to see all your tasks according to three categories : upcoming tasks, completed tasks and all your tasks.

Create Task

Method 1: Create via Action Plan

Step 1: Click on your profile avatar on the right of the page.

Step 2: Type in your task in the red highlighted box as shown below.

Step 3: Click on the + icon on the right of the text area for the task.

This method is easy to add in your task but it for basic task as you are not able to add in due date, priority or reminder date and time.

Method 2: Create via Deal

Step 1: At the Task list view, click on the Create button on the top left.

Step 2: Add in the task title.

Depending on your preference, you can provide the reminder's timing, priority, and due date. The priority options are none, low, medium and high.

Step 3: Click on the Add Task button on the bottom right.

The reminder timing options when the due date is enabled are no reminder, at task due time, 30 minutes before, 1 hour before, 1 day before, 1 week before(applicable if the due date is more than 1 week later) and custom date.

If the due date is not enabled, the reminder timing options are no reminder and custom date.

If you have selected a custom date but prefer to not have a reminder, you can click on the Reset at the bottom left and it will return back to no reminder.

Task List View

There are three categories which are upcoming, completed and all. All category consists of both upcoming tasks and completed tasks.

Mark Task as Complete

To complete the task, there are two ways to mark the task as completed.

Method 1: At Action Plan

When you scroll in the task section in the Action Plan and found the specific task, you can mark as complete just by clicking on the circle beside the task name. If you want to view on the tasks that are completed, you may click on the arrow on the right of Completed Task.

Method 2: Tick Icon

You may directly click on the tick icon on the left of the task then it will be marked as complete and moved to the Completed section.

Method 3: Select Tasks and Mark as Complete

Select the tasks by clicking on the boxes to the left of the task, then click Mark as Complete. The tasks you selected will be moved to the Completed area in an instant.

Edit Task

Method 1: Double Click on Task

Just double click on any row of the task to edit the task details.

Method 2: Select Task then click Edit

Just select the box on the left of the task and click on edit then you will be able to edit the task details. Do note that the edit option will only be available if you select one task. You will not be able to edit more than one task at once.

Delete Task

The only way to delete tasks regardless whether it is an upcoming task or completed task is by selecting the tasks and click on Delete.
